Prerequisites

To build and run the examples you need the following:

  • A Java Runtime of at least Java8, this can be downloaded from jdk.java.net
  • Apache Maven, at least version 3.5.0, this can be downloaded from the Apache Maven Project

A Java IDE makes it much easier to play with the examples, you can use any IDE, but Allegro and the examples are developed on Eclipse, which can be downloaded from the Eclipse Foundation
